EMIT Human Odour Blocker is a ready-to-use water-based aerosol spray mist formulation. When sprayed, it generates a fine wet misty foam to eliminate odour. This product can be used to eliminate human odour that attracts insects and significantly reduce the presence of flying insects such as mosquitoes, flies, and biting midges. The spray adheres to foliage, wood, stone/brick, and other organic materials. This creates a vertical barrier that strengthens with each spray.

HOW DOES IT WORK
To help insects locate their prey, Insects have receptors on their antennae that respond to smell, called olfactory receptors. These receptors can be found mainly on insects’ antennae & maxillary palps. Human sweat contains pungent volatile organic compounds such as 4-methylphenol, ammonia, ketones, and lactic acid. These organic compounds are diffused and carried by airborne molecules and picked up by olfactory receptors. These olfactory receptors are very sensitive and can detect the minute presence of these odours several hundreds of meters away.
(1) EMIT Human Odour Blocker works by simply “jamming” insects’ olfactory receptors and desensitizing their smelling ability. Although these olfactory receptors are sensitive, they are also very fragile. Once faulty, it cannot send signals to the insects’ brain, disabling their ability to detect volatile compounds for foraging, predator avoidance, finding mating partners (via pheromones), and locating oviposition habitats.
(2) EMIT Human Odour Blocker Kills Germs, Bacteria, Fungus and is an effective disinfectant. The odour of urine, sweat, feces and dead rat worsens as it ages. This is due to bacteria metabolizing proteins, fatty acids, and carbohydrates. Killing these bacteria will remove odours.
Insects need to smell this product for it to work and the whole goal is to flood insects’ olfactory receptors with as much EMIT Human Odour Blocker as you can get to avoid them.

DIRECTION FOR USE
Shake Well Before Use.
Shake can well. Hold can 15-20cm from surface and spray surface until covered with mist. Allow to air dry. No need to wipe. Do not sleep or sit directly on treated surfaces before drying. The sprayed area will usually dry in less than 15 minutes, you, your child, and your pets can safely return to use the sprayed area.
For Flies Reduction
Spray on dung, urine, rubbish bins, and garbage centres.
For Mosquitoes/ Biting Midges Reduction

OUTDOORS: Spray generously on clothing, strollers, backpack, hat, and foliages to eliminate human odour.
INDOORS: Spray around dark areas, barracks, walls, toilets, beds, gym, offices, and mosquito nets.
During Mosquito Outbreak, spray 3 to 5 times a day.
During Maintenance, spray 2 times per day.
Increase spraying for larger group congregations.
