MUMS' CHOICE CHRYSANTHEMUM MOSQUITO REPELLENT (SPATIAL) (EM-1087)

DESCRIPTION: ECO Mums’ Choice Chrysanthemum Mosquito Repellent, contains the botanical active ingredient Pyrethrum. Pyrethrum is extracted from the flower Chrysanthemum Cinerariaefolium.
 

Pyrethrum breaks down quickly in sunlight and is not readily absorbed through the skin; thus has long been considered one of the SAFER options for use around children and pets* (Not suitable for pet amphibians ~ iguanas, spiders, fishes, aquatic creatures, cats).

Test results highlight the effectiveness of the formulation in repelling, rapidly incapacitating and ultimately eliminating susceptible Aedes aegypti populations, making it suitable as a household mosquito control measure.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

This is not a fast knockdown product.
Pyrethrum acts as a potent insect repellent at lower concentrations. When insects encounter the micro-particle spray, they are unable to metabolize it, triggering an instinct to escape the treated area. This repellent effect ensures that mosquitoes and other pests are driven away before succumbing to the exposure.

In enclosed spaces where escape is not possible, the insects will eventually be eliminated, as demonstrated in the Peet-Grady test. This dual-action mechanism provides a significant advantage in sensitive environments like restaurants: pests are effectively repelled from food preparation and display areas without dying on surfaces, ensuring both hygiene and customer comfort.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The composition of the product is very different to fast knockdown Mosquito control products. Fast knockdown sprays have synthetic active ingredients that are toxic and not permitted anywhere near food.

Mums' Choice Chrysanthemum Mosquito Repellent boasts an active ingredient derived from flower oils, which is toxic only to cold-blooded creatures.

DIRECTION FOR USE
Shake Well Before Use.
(Automatic) - Place inside a metered dosing dispenser (Install above head level) and set the timing interval to 5~30 minute intervals. (Shorten interval during mosquito season)
(Manual) - Raise the canister above head level and point upwards. Depress the actuator to manually release fine micro-particles of spray.

For best results, select an installation site away from strong air currents. 
Do not place the unit near:

• Air conditioning vents

• Ceiling fans

• Exhaust fans

• Open windows or doorways

Why this matters: The dispenser releases a fine mist of micro-particles designed to remain suspended in the air for an extended period. High wind speed disrupts the essential suspension of the micro-particles in the air, shortening their dwell time and significantly reducing the product's ability to repel and eliminate insects effectively.

Some individuals may be sensitive to pyrethrum and experience skin irritation or respiratory issues.
Stop use immediately when such irritation occurs. Remove individuals to fresh air. Open windows to ventilate the room.

Note:
Please cover all fish tanks and bee hives. Although Pyrethrum is natural, it is toxic to fish (aquatic life) and bees. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways, and ditches.
